Tony Stopperan provides strategic leadership to the fund development program across the Western Washington University as the Director of Development, working closely with the Deans, chairs, faculty and University leadership to connect alumni, friends and parents of the University who want to partner in enriching the education at Western by enhancing the student experience through philanthropy. As partner and producer for Hungry Bull Productions, Tony has been part of a team that has financed and produced Michael Sarnoski’s directorial debut PIG (NEON), starring Nicolas Cage and Alex Wolff which was recently released to critical acclaim and a 97% Rotten Tomatoes rating, PASSING (NETFLIX) directed by Rebecca Hall starring Tessa Thompson, Ruth Negga, Alexander Skarsgard, and Andre Holland, His films for LIONSGATE include: Castille Landon’s FEAR OF RAIN, starring Katherine Heigl, Harry Connick, Jr., Madison Iseman and Israel Broussard as well as Justin Long’s directorial debut, the romantic-comedy LADY OF THE MANOR theatrically released in September 2021 starring Melanie Lynskey, Judy Greer, Justin Long and Ryan Phillippe. Hungry Bull’s recent film MACK & RITA was released wide (GRAVITAS VENTURES) in 2022 and stars Diane Keaton, Elizabeth Lail and Taylour Paige. This team is also currently in post-production on the upcoming Mckenna Grace starrer, SPIDER & JESSIE, co-starring Jojo Regina, Dacre Montgomery, Forrest Goodluck and Jesse Williams.
