Calidore String Quartet

Program*

“Sounds of America” – Featuring a program that includes works from an upcoming Calidore album release for Signum Records, to be released in November 2024.

This program explores the rich sonic tapestry and roots of the American sound. From Jazz and Hollywood to bold American (and American immigrant) composers who have made their mark on the classical music canon. This program includes a new work by the living Hollywood legend, John Williams. A new arrangement written for the CSQ based on the soundtrack of Spielberg’s “Lincoln”.
