2019 Benefit Auction
Gala Auction and Dinner Grosses Over $140,000
The BFM celebrated its Annual Benefit Auction April 27 with over 150 guests who gathered for cocktails and dinner at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club. Getting into the spirit of fairytale magic, these friends helped raise more than $140,000 for the Festival’s summer program, year-round events, and musical outreach to the community. Among the extraordinarily generous contributions were donations of $71,000 to Fund-a-Principal, which supports the engagement of our outstanding orchestra principals and the Artistic Director.
Guests bid eagerly for a variety of silent auction items that included premium wine bundles, vacation trips, handmade jewelry and paintings, and a variety of services. This was followed by a live auction during dinner as well as audience favorites such as the Heads or Tails game and the Dessert Raffle.
