The Festival Chorus

The Bellingham Festival of Music Chorus is a select group of 45-50 local singers who join with the Festival Orchestra under the baton of Michael Palmer to put on a major choral work each year, often at the season’s final concert. Recent performances include the Brahms “Requiem,” Poulenc “Gloria,” and the Chorus from Beethoven’s opera “Fidelio.” It is a great thrill for the amateur Chorus members to perform with the Festival Orchestra and they look forward to it each season. The hardworking Chorus has received deserved acclaim for their performances with the Orchestra.
