Chamber music by the Bay

Sunday, July 7, 2019, 4:00 PM

Featuring Festival Orchestra Principals

A catered reception of light appetizers follows the concert

Situated on a pier in historic Fairhaven and surrounded by water on three sides, the domed atrium at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal is an idyllic location for a chamber music concert. The terminal is the southern starting point for the Alaska Marine Highway System, the nation’s first marine Scenic Highway. The view is breathtaking; the performances even more so.

This year’s concert will offer a wonderful mix of Franch and German works featuring a gratifying combination of instruments :

Jean-Marie Leclair: Duo Sonata, Op. 3, No. 5

Victor Costanzi, violin
Carolyn Canfield Cole, violin

Claude Debussy: Sonata for Flute, Viola, and Harp

Christina Smith, flute
Christiana Reader, viola
Sophie Baird-Daniel, harp

Ludwig Van Beethoven: Septet in E-flat Major, Op. 20

Richard Roberts, violin
Marvin Warshaw, viola
Steven Thomas, cello
Jordan Anderson, contrabass
Laura Ardan, clarinet
Robert Williams, bassoon
Brice Andrus, horn
