Bellingham is truly a playground for the sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, arts aficionados, and the shoppers! A visitor can enjoy fishing, hiking, golf, bicycling, kayaking, or shopping by day and fine dining and a celebration of classical music by night. It is no wonder national surveys rank Bellingham as a great place to live.

National Endowment for the Arts Grant

The Bellingham Festival of Music has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
This is the first NEA grant the Festival has received in its 16-year history. The grant recognizes the Festival organization’s ability to realize the artistic and public service goals of delivering the highest quality classical music to this northwest corner of the state of Washington. Along with the Seattle Symphony, the Bellingham Festival of Music was among only four music organizations in the state of Washington to receive an NEA grant.
